Facilitating workshops to establish business goals for product or service
Deliverables: A documented mutually consistent set of goals agreed with all relevant stakeholders.
Duration: Typically several days although this can be extended in complex situations or when it is difficult to get agreement among the stakeholders.

Facilitating creation of programme and project terms of reference
The business analyst or requirements engineer can assist the project manager in formulating the terms of reference for the project. Analysts and project managers have a mutual concern in this area; analysts have a particular insight that assists in this task.
Terms of reference will include the following:
- Objectives - For the project and for the deliverables.
- Scope: What's in and what's out, with reference, where relevant, to iterations and releases.
- Deliverables: The thing that will be defined by the requirements.
Undertaking business or feasibility studies
Recommend and implement procedures processes and techniques for running business and feasibility studies.
Provide interim business analysts, requirements, specialists and project managers to run business and feasibility studies.
Planning and Management of Requirements Effort in the Project
Supply of interim project managers and lead business analysts / architects to manage all aspects of requirements engineering, business process analysis and other aspects of business analysis throughout the programme or project.
