Requirements Driven Project Management
Overview
The critical success factors for project management are virtually identical to those for requirements engineering, a fact shown clearly in the Standish Group’s Chaos 10 reports. This course describes how a requirements focussed approach to project management can make significant contributions to overall project success. We also learn how to do ‘just enough’ requirements in order to provide exactly what the stakeholders need, no more, no less.
The course is also an excellent compliment to chosen management methodogies such as Prince 2 or PMI; the course will always be run by a Prince 2 or PMI practitioner. The course could also be an excellent starting point for those organisations that are customising their project management method. See also Requirements Driven Project Management in a Prince 2 Environment.
