As with many other aspects of systems analysis and development, the way in which you go about the task of requirements discovery is important to the quality of the final product. This is where the experience of a Capiro requirements specialist can help you, allowing you to develop high quality requirements faster.
Capiro offers the following approaches; the client may alternatively choose to employ some combination of the approaches.
Approach 1
Capiro requirements consultants perform requirements elicitation, perhaps supplementing your existing team of business analysts.
We normally recommend that an experienced Capiro facilitator works with one of our requirements engineers to conduct workshops involving relevant business stakeholders. The exact number of facilitators and requirements engineers will of course vary depending on the size of the project.
Approach 2
A Capiro facilitator works as in approach 1 but exclusively with your business analysts and subject matter experts.
Approach 3
Capiro requirements consultants train, coach and / or mentor your business analysts and / or business stakeholders to create user task descriptions or other forms of requirement. The business analysts and stakeholders then organise workshops to write the descriptions; optionally the workshops can be facilitated by a Capiro consultant. The Capiro coach or mentor reviews the descriptions and they are re-worked as necessary.
